The university preparation courses aim to provide students with the skills to succeed in their undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses. The purpose of preparation courses is to offer you the chance to prepare to enter a university degree by focusing first on your academic requirements, but also improving your English, general study skills you need to be successful and provide help integrating into a new culture.

International Foundation Year

A 10 month programme for international students who need to develop their subject knowledge, academic English and study skills for undergraduate study in the UK. The course is for international students that don't meet entry requirements for undergraduate study, but have completed high school (year 12).

Foundation Year programmes

An entry route to a specific subject degree for students who don't meet the entry requirements for a degree and whose education systems in their own countries do not offer qualifications suitable for direct admission, but do have the required level of English.

Pre-Masters Diploma for International Students

A 9 month programme for international students who need to develop academic English and study skills for postgraduate study in the UK. The International Pre-Master’s course facilitates the transition from a variety of educational backgrounds to the taught and research-orientated graduate programmes in the UK. The Pre-Master’s course will give students a unique insight into succeeding academically at graduate level at a UK university.
